The Seven Boys of the Pleiades
A surreal artistic rendering of seven boys from a painting by Francis Floris (1519-1570), a Flemish painter and artist. The painting is an allegory (a common trait in Floris's paintings) of the Pleiades, a star cluster of seven stars that have become enshrined in a massive range of mythological tales around the world, perhaps most famously as the Seven Sisters, the daughters of Atlas and Pleione in Greek Mythology
