Statue of the Duke of Wellington, Aldershot
The statue of the Duke of Wellington in Aldershot, Hamphire, England. It was originally built in 1846 to commemorate Arthur Wellesley (1769-1852), 1st Duke of Wellington. However, regarded as an eyesore by Queen Victoria, it was moved to Aldershot Military Town in August 1885, which at the time was no small feat
