Queen of Heaven Temple, Ningpo (Ningbo), China
Among the chief attractions of the town of Ningpo (Ningbo) is the Tien-how-kung (Tien-Hou-Gong), or Queen of Heaven Temple, meeting place of the Fukien Guild. The pillars have no capitals [but] are furnished with ornamental brackets... to throw the weight of the massive roofs down the centre of the shafts'. Thomson writes that the craftsmen's unions held meetings here
