Dec. 12, 1949 - Inquiry Into Mystery of Australian Girl Missing From The Liner Orcades. The Ministry of Transport Inquiry was resumed today into the mystery of the disappearance from the liner Orcades between Sydney and Melbourne of 20 year old Australian Girl Miss Gwenda McCallum. During the inquiry - Mr. Alastair Robin Peter Patrick Keith Cameron, 30 year old civil servant of Marylebone stated that a red rose was found in the girl's cabin after the girl had found to be missing. The only other thing missing were a pair of pyjamas that Mr. Cameron had loaned to the girl - as she had come aboard without any.
