Dec. 22, 1968 - Girl Dressed As The Queen Leads Demonstration Of Buckingham Place For Over The Homeless: Bernadette Connolly, 21, who is a clerk, and comes from Kilburn, lead a demonstration to Buckingham Palace this afternoon, dresses as the Queen, to demand its take over to held toward the homeless problem. The demonstration is run by The London Communists. They say that the Palace could house 1, 000 homeless families.
