May 05, 1965 - The Queen inaugurates Britain's memorial to President Kennedy at Runnymede: HM the Queen this afternoon inaugurated Britain memorial to President Kennedy at Runnymede near Windsor. Present at the ceremony was the late President's widow, Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy her two children and his brothers Robert and Edward. Photo shows Standing before the memorial are L to R. The Queen, Lord Harlech, former Ambassador in Washington, and chairman of the Kennedy foundation fun, the two Kennedy children Caroline and John Prince Philip, behind the Queen is Mrs. Peter Lawford. Navy men are Yeoman 1st class Howard Trenforthu, S. Navy and Patrolman John Dickenson, right of Scarborough, Yorks
