Peter Philip, proud father of quadruplets, London

Jun. 06, 1957 - Quads born in London - All girls - and All Doing Well.: Quads - all girls - born at Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital, Hammersmith, early today to Mrs Celia Philip, aged 28, of Kingswood, Surrey, were said this afternoon to be doing well'. The babies were born at intervals of a few minutes and weighed 4lbs. 11oz. 3lb, 4 1/2 oz. and 4lb. 30oz. a total weight of 14 lbs. 11oz. The babies which were not due until mid-july, were placed in incubators. The quads father is 27 and a director in his fathers book making frim in Southall. The first quad was born at 7.27.m. and last at.41.m. 14 minutes later. Philips already have one son 2 1/2-year-old Robert.
