Two policewomen with George medals, London

Nov. 11, 1955 - Queen presents policewomen with their George Medals at Palace investiture. H.M. The queen this morning presented two London Policewomen with their George Medals at Buckingham Palace investiture. They are Police sergeant Ethel Bush and woman Police constable Kathleen Parrott the two women who acted as decoys to trap a man who was terrorising women on a lonely Croydon footpath. Police woman Parrott was knocked almost unconscious and Sgt. Bush was felled with a blow. Their assailant was sentenced to ten years imprisonment.
