Original date for Coronation, decorations in London 1902
Coronation decorations in City of London. Unfortunately, the soon to be King Edward VII fell seriously ill with appendicitis and underwent an emergency operation two days before the ceremony, due on the 26th June 1902. He recovered and the new date was postponed to 9th August the same year
