Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson, 14th Baron Berners (1883 - 1950), also known as Gerald Tyrwhitt - a British composer, novelist, painter, and aesthete. He was also known as Lord Berners. Photographed here by Madame Yevonde following the publication of his latest book The Romance of the Nose - pictured in front of a bust of the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra (famed to have owned one of the prettiest noses in history..!)
