Mrs Roland Cubitt (Sonia Keppel)

The Hon. Mrs. Roland Cubitt, formerly Miss Sonia Keppel, the younger daughter of Lieut.-Colonel the Hon. George Keppel, and married Lord Ashcombe's eldest son in 1920. She was the mother of Rosalind Cubitt who was in turn mother of Camilla Shand, now Queen Camilla. Appearing in The Bystander, in a photograph by Yevonde, at the time she had her first novel, Sister of the Sun published by Chapman and Hall
