Lady Ankaret Jackson
Lady Ankaret Cecilia Caroline Jackson, nee Howard (1900 - 1945), photographed by Yevonde. The daughter of Charles James Stanley Howard, 10th Earl of Carlisle and Rhoda Ankaret L'Estrange, she married Sir William Jackson, 7th Bt. son of William Jackson and Blanche Whitworth Atkin, on 7 April 1927. She died on 9 April 1945 at age 44, as the result of a riding accident. She was admitted to Inner Temple in 1928 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law
