Lady Blanche Somerset by Madame Yevonde
Lady Blanche Linnie Somerset (1897-1968), elder daughter of the 9th Duke of Beaufort. Pictured in The Tatler at the time of her engagement to John Eliot, 6th Earl of St Germans who would later be killed in a riding accident in 1922. She then married George Francis Valentine Scott Douglas who died in 1930, this time of a polo injury
