1935 Lagonda M45R (Rapide) T9, CGO 62

1935 Lagonda M45R (Rapide) T9, CGO 62, on the estate of Group Captain Rexford-Welch. This fabulous Lagonda Rapide, car No. Z11450, is the embodiment of mid-thirties English motoring at its finest; the new M45R model was based on a 10ft 3inch chassis mated to a Meadows six-cylinder 4.5 liter engine capable of a healthy 120bhp. When fitted with the open four seat tourer T9 coachwork the list price in 1935 was circa equivalent to the cost of a small house
