Airspeed AS.5 Courier G-ADAY

Airspeed AS.5 Courier G-ADAY (msn 27), of Portsmouth Southsea and Isle of Wight Aviation (PSIOWA). Due to persistent maintenance problems with the retractable undercarriage, this and several other Couriers flew with the undercarriage permanently locked down. Delivered to PSIOWA in April 1935 Impressed by the Royal Air Force as X9343 on 18 March 1940
