Beagle A.61 Terrier 2 G-ASAC
Beagle A.61 Terrier 2 G-ASAC (msn B.606, ex WE587), of the Airways Aero Club. Auster converted a number of ex- Army aircraft which became the Auster 6B. When the company became part of Beagle Aircraft in 1960 it was renamed the Beagle A.61 Terrier. Ex-RAF Auster T.7 WE587: delivered 9 January 1951, served with No. 651 Squadron, and 1908 Flt. To Army Air Corps on 1 September 1957. Struck off charge when sold, on 31 December 1961. Converted to A.61 Terrier 2, registered as G-ASAC on 1 June 1962. Written off when it crashed on landing and was destroyed, at Plymouth airport, Plymouth, Devon (EGHD) on 4 September 1964
