Boeing XP-8 28-359
Boeing XP-8 (Model 66) 28-359 (msn 806). Designed to a 1925 Army Air Corps specification for a fighter powered by a 600hp Packard 2A-1500 inverted water-cooled V-12 engine. Developed from the XP-7 with many refinements to structure and systems which were incorporated in later fighter designs
