British Overseas Airways Corporation Lockheed 18-08 Lodestar G-AGDD Loch Losna (msn 2087, ex NX34901, to Royal Norwegian Air Force July 1945 as 2087). The BOAC Lodestars were widely used, carrying diplomats and VIPs as well as essential freight to friendly or neutral countries, particularly Stockholm in Sweden and Lisbon in Portugal, though they were soon supplanted on the Stockholm run when Mosquitos became available. - 16th October, 1941
