Cox-Klemin CO-1 P-377

Cox-Klemin CO-1 P-377 at McCook Field for evaluation. The CO-1 and CO-2 (company designations) were licence-built Heinkel HD17 reconnaissance biplanes, powered by Napier Lion and Liberty L-12 engines respectively. The CO-1 was given the McCook Field evaluation serial P-377 and the CO-2 was serialled P-379. (Note that there is no relation to the Engineering Division CO-1 and CO-2, which were US Army designations in the Corps Observation category)
