Douglas NRA-3B Skywarrior 144825
United States Navy - Douglas NRA-3B Skywarrior 144825 (MSN 12071), at an air display on 15 May 1965. Built as an A3D-2P photo-reconnaissance bomber, redesignated RA-3B in 1962 and converted for test use as an NRA-3B with the Naval missile Centre at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in California. The large radome was fitted to accommodate the AN/APQ-81 radar for the AAM-N-10 Eagle long-range air-to-air missile. The AAM-N-10 was to be launched from the proposed Douglas F6D Missileer fleet-defence fighter
