The first Found FBA-2C, CF-NWT-X, at the Malton, Ontario factory of Found Brothers Aviation Ltd. on or around 9 May 1962, the date of its first flight. This aircraft crashed soon afterwards on 12 June 1962 due to fuel starvation, killing the pilot, J.C. Temple
