de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk G-AOUO

de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk G-AOUO of Air Service Training. AOUO was purchsed by the Royal Air Force Gliding and Soaring Association in the early 1970s and converted to a Supermunk, powered by a 180hp Lycoming engine. The RAFGSA, having purchased the rights to this conversion, including drawings, tooling and spares, compketed several more Supermunk conversions to provide the RAFGSA with reliable, powerful and easy to maintain glider tugs
