Hellenic Parliament building - The Old Royal Palace

Hellenic Parliament building, also known as the Old Royal Palace, which overlooks Syntagma Square in Athens, Greece. Situated in the heart of modern Athens, facing Syntagma Square. Originally built as the Royal Palace for King Otto, it has housed the Hellenic Parliament since 1934. Syntagma Square: The square itself is named after the Constitution granted by King Otto after a popular uprising in 1843. In front of the Parliament building is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, guarded by the Evzones, where the Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place
