Larsen Special LN-11
Larsen Special LN-11. Carl Larsen designed and built the all-metal single-seat Special in spare time. Initially powered by a 65 hp Continental A65 it was flown for the first time in 1952, wearing the test flight registration LN-11. It was several times redesigned and also re-engined, first with an 85 hp Continental C85 and later with a 90 hp C90. After 256 flying hours it crashed on 9 July 1955 at Fornebu, Norway
