North American T-28A Nomad N7708C at Paloima 49-1515 (MSN 159-27) Assigned to 3300th Pilot Training Group, Graham AFB, FL December 1955 ; To the Arizona Aircraft Storage Branch [AASB], Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Reclaimed 2 April 1958 and registered N7708C 1960; Crashed 10Apr68 at Holbrook, AZ, due to engine failure caused by a sheared shaft in the fuel pump. This had, in turn, been caused by an undetermined contamination in fuel screen. Left wing of aircraft struck ground in a turn whilst circling on final approach to Holbrook, Arizona
