United States Air Force - Northrop YF-5A 59-4987 (msn N.6001), built as the prototype N.156F Freedom Fighter, as a private venture by Northrop and later adopted by the USAF, primarily for export. The aircraft is seen loaded with AIM-9 Sidewinder Air-to-Air Missiles, Nord AS.20 Air-Surface Missiles (ASM) on the outboard pylons and a Nord AS.30 Air-Surface missile on the centre-line pylon, as part of its evaluation by the US Army for the Close Air Support (CAS) role
