Royal Air Force Austers WJ316

Royal Air Force Austers WJ316, at the 1951 SBAC Farnborough Air Show. First flown in August 1950 and written off on 29 September 1955. The Austers was an AOP aircraft based on the Auster 6, with enlarged tail, one prototype only. In the background can be seen the Avro Proteus-Lincoln test-bed SX972 and the Blackburn and General Universal Freighter WF320
