Seversky SEV-S2 NX70Y

Seversky SEV-S2 NX70Y (msn 43). Alexander de Seversky modified a P-35 for the National Air Races. Powered by a 950hp Pratt and Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp Sc and flown by Frank Fuller Jr in the Bendix Trophy from 1937 to 1939, taking second place in the 1938 Bendix Trophy. The Registration was NX70Y for flight testing in the experimental category, later changing to NR70Y / N70Y, carrying race Number 23 in 1937 and 77 in 1939
