SS Atlantic Conveyor, roll-on roll-off container ship, on 26 may 1982, the day after being struck by two Exocet missiles in the South Atlantic near the Falkland Islands. A large part of the logistic materiel for the re-capture of the Falklands, went up in smoke, putting extreme pressure in the task Force.
