Stroukoff YC-123E-SA Provider 55-4031, modified by Stroukoff Aircraft Corp, Trenton NJ. With Pantobase undercarriage and wing-tip floats for operating off water, snow, ice, and sand, as well as land. This aircraft probably used one of the unfinished Chase C-123B-CN Provider aircraft that were cancelled in 1952 (52-1630, msn 20003 ). When Fairchild took over the airframe as a Fairchild C-123B-FA Provider, the serial changed to 54-0554. On completion this aircraft was allocated to Stroukoff for modification to Pantobase undercarriage standard with serial no. 55-4031
