Mackey and Alex Papana at various times. NR13918 is seen here enthusiastically rounding the home pylon, flown by Lt. Joe Mackay during the 1936 All American Air Races at Miami. ( NX13918 was built as a Waco ATO, re-engined, becoming a CTO, then given a thorough re-model and powerful engine as the sole JTO)
