Westland Whirlwind HAS.7 XL880 (msn WA230) at the 1958 SBAC Farnborough Air Show. (SBAC - Society of British Aircraft Constructors) First flown on 25 July 1958 and delivered in August 1958. XL880 was converted to HAR.9 standard for rescue duties, then allocated the RN maintenance serial A2714. Finally she perished at the fire fighting school, Predannack by June 1996
