Built as the WS-55 Series 2 demonstrator, powered by an Alvi Leonides Major piston engine and converted to Series 3 standard, powered by a Bristol Siddeley Gnome Turboshaft engine. This aircraft was sold to the Nigerian Air Force as NAF-502
