Aston Union Cottage Homes, Erdington, West Midlands
The entrance to Aston Union's cottage homes, opened in 1899 at Erdington, Birmingham, West Midlands. The homes housed pauper children away from the main workhouse which occupied an adjacent site. As well as the children's cottages, the homes included a school, infirmary, chapel, swimming bath, and workshops
