London taxi cab attacked by drivers during strike
A London taxi cab is attacked in the street during a taxi cab drivers strike which took place from 31 October to 9 November. When the British Motor Cab Company took on a number of non-union members to drive the cabs, large numbers of striking drivers gathered round the company's garage and attempted to prevent the cabs from leaving. A strong force of police were on hand to protect the cabs and their drivers, and several arrests were made
