Wedding at Lorna Doone's church, Devon
An unusual wedding at Lorna Doone's church (St Mary's Church, Oare, which features in the novel by R D Blackmore), near the village of Malmsmead, Exmoor, Devon. The happy couple, Mr H C Black and Miss C Hoffmeister of Glenthorne, Devon, were married in riding habit, and immediately after the ceremony joined the meet of the Devon and Somerset Staghounds. Here they can be seen on horseback making their way to the meet, with banners above and on either side to wish them well. ~~(2 of 2)
