A head and shoulders portrait of Eleanor Malby (1886-1956), wife of Reginald Malby, official photographer to the Royal Horticultural Society. Eleanor was a photographer in her own right, and after Reginald's death kept the company of Reginald A Malby and Co running. Eleanor was awarded the prestigious Veitch Memorial Medal in 1941 for her photographic work on garden subjects
