View of the walled garden at the back of Great Maytham Hall, a Grade II listed country house near Rolvenden, Kent. It was the inspiration for the children's classic, The Secret Garden, by ~~Frances Hodgson Burnett, who lived there between 1898 and 1907. Burnett restored the neglected garden and planted hundreds of roses. Seen here is an array of flowers at the side of a pathway, with a flight of steps at the top
