Adolf Hitler during a large rally on the Maifeld, 1937

During Mussolini's visit to Germany in September 1937, the Berlin Maifeld came into its originally planned use. On September 28, Goebbels, Hitler and Mussolini spoke (in German) to a huge audience at the Maifeld. Hitler himself mentioned in his speech the number of one million, today's authors mention figures of about 700, 000 participants in the large rally. Here you can see Hitler as speaker. Mussolini looks up to the speaker's tribune, next to him also Goebbels. On the tribune flags of the Kingdom of Italy
