First Chechen War, 1996
Chechnya. The First Chechen War between the Russian federal troops and Dzhokhar Dudayev's separatist forces breaks out in 1994 and ends up in signing the 1996 Khasavyurt Accord on ceasefire and Russia's actual defeat.
