British Railways Class 4 4-6-0 No. 75075 in steam for the last time at Nine Elms Loco Yard with Nine Elms New Shed behind and onlookers on either side. Chalked on the smoke box door is the message Farewell to steam - gone but not forgot and on the step up from the buffer beam to the running plate the message 1967 is a bad year for steam. Photograph taken on 9th July 1967, the last day of steam on the Southern Region.~~
