Southern Region Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 No. 35023 (formerly Holland-Afrika Line) in steam on shed having just finished its final journey. It is inside Nine Elms New Shed. Chalked on the smokebox door are the words The End - The Last One as it had just completed the last steam-hauled passenger service from Waterloo to Weymouth. Photograph taken on 9th July 1967, the last day of steam on the Southern Region.~~
