The Agora (Hippodrome) Theatre production of Aida marked the official opening of this Cleveland, Ohio theatre. first opened on March 31, 1913 as an English performance of Aida produced by Max Faetkenheuer, an opera promoter and conductor who had also been involved in the construction of the monumental Hippodrome Theatre
