The decoration has a round shape on one side and consists of 2 pieces with 9 figures inside, and 10 pieces with 5 figures inside. The figure here is presumed to be a Buddha image or the Four Heavenly Kings. Goryeo was a Korean kingdom founded in 918, during a time of national division called the Later Three Kingdoms period, that unified and ruled the Korean Peninsula until 1392.
