Chen Jun Died After Being Captured by Warlords
Chen Jun (1905-1927), from Pingyang County, Zhejiang Province, a student at The Great China University, was doing promotion works at the Second Armed Uprising and was captured by the warlords. The Second Armed Uprising was one of the three uprisings of Shanghai workers instigated by the Chinese Communist Party to cooperate with the Northern Expedition and overthrow the warlord government. During the trial, he was righteous and dignified, denounced the warlord, and died heroically
