An engraving depicting a view Stourport-on-Severn from above the bridge. On the left immediately below the bridge where numerous masts are shown, is the entrance to the Staffordshire and Worcester canal. With the coming of canals Stourport, at the junction of the Stour and the Severn, after 1772 it rapidly grew from nothing more than an alehouse to a thriving port. Dated 18th century
