The exterior and interior of the August Seventh meeting site. On June 23rd, 1927, Ren Bishi attended the meeting of the Party Central Committee the Youth League Central Committee, and read out To the Central Committee's Opinions, where he criticized Chen Duxiu; on August 7, the Party Central Committee held a meeting in Hankou Jiao Street (Now No. 139 Xian Poyang Street). That emergency meeting was known as the August Seventh meeting. At the meeting, Ren Bishi once again criticized Chen Duxiu's mistakes of his right-leaning ideology and opportunism. Ren Bishi was elected as a member of the Provisional Political Bureau of the Central Committee at this meeting
