Green Glazed Hu Vase
The horseshoe-shaped stove has a rectangular mouth and is built upon two different sized pits, the bottom is opened. The characters Hou T'u are inscribed on the larger pit. Records state that unearthed funerary objects of the Han dynasty include many stoves, this reflects the indispensability of stoves in daily lives and people's belief in the God of the kitchen
