Negotiations between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, the Kuomintang Party sent a delegation to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Yan'an and the Red Army's station in Guanzhong, Shaanxi. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent Cai Jianying and Chen Geng to accompany the inspection.
