Guo Qinguang Died of Anger Towards Beiyang Warlord

Guo Qinguang is a Peking University student, he participated in the demonstration strike on May 4th while sick, he died at only 24 of anger on May 7 because he resented the Beiyang warlord government for suppressing the patriotic masses. Beiyang warlord government was one of the warlord forces of the Republic of China, composed of the main generals of the New Beiyang Army after Yuan Shikai took power. This happened during the May Fourth Movement. The May Fourth Movement was a Chinese anti-imperialist, cultural, and political movement that grew out of student protests in Beijing on May 4, 1919
